The lever is precisely adapted to the rotating ring. If it is not properly seated, it will not screw.
The rotating ring of the Leica Calonox is conical. The lever must therefore be at the very back of the rotating ring (see photos). It adapts directly to the profile to prevent the quick-release lever from slipping forward.
